Vehicle ASB

At 16:20 hours yesterday afternoon on the #ASHBY ward an off-duty Ashby officer spotted a male with no crash helmet riding a scooter along the Queensway. A quick call was made to colleagues who attended the area and stopped the rider on Bushfield Rd. Checks were conducted on the bike and although it had ignition damage it was not showing as stolen. The bike has been seized for no insurance and the male reported for road traffic offences. 

The Ashby Ward continue to target those who use illegal motorcycles and will act on any information submitted.
